Step 1: PRACTICE OPENING AND CLOSING THE CLIPS
With the clip side of the piece facing you, put both thumbs on each side of the clip and the index fingers at the front sides. Snap the clip open by applying pressure toward yourself with the index fingers. Similarly, close the clip by applying pressure away from yourself with the thumbs.
Step 2: SEPARATE THE HAIR AND CLIP UP
Use a tail comb or your index fingers to practice parting the hair horizontally from one side of the head to the other. Starting about an inch above the ears, part the hair around the back of the head just below the crown and to the other ear. Then, lift up all the hair above the part and clip it out of the way using the enclosed duck-bill clips.
Step 3: CLIP UP THE HAIR ABOVE THE PART
Lift up all the hair above the part and clip it out of the way using the enclosed duck-bill clip(s).
Step 4: PIN UP THE HAIR THAT IS BELOW THE PART
Take the remaining hair and secure in large pin curls so that it could lay as flat to the head as possible.
Step 5: PLACEMENT OF FIRST CLIP
Open all the clips on the piece. The top middle clip should be attached first by placing it at the middle of the back of the head just below the part so that the top of the weft is even with the part when attached. Moving the clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut.
Step 6: PLACEMENT OF THE SECOND CLIP
The left clip is next. Holding the middle clip in place with your right hand, use your left hand to move the left edge of the weft as far as it will go around your head. As above, place the clip on your hair just below the part, and moving the clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut.
Step 7: PLACEMENT OF THE THIRD CLIP
To attach the right clip, hold the middle clip in place with your left hand and use your right hand to move the right edge of the weft as far as it will go around your head. As in the previous two steps, place the clip on your hair just below the part, and moving the clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut.
Step 8: CHECK FOR GAPS
Now that the three top clips are attached, run your fingers along the top weft to make sure it lies flat against your head along the entire width. If there are any gaps, correct this by snapping the clip open, lifting it off your hair and repositioning it so that the weft lies flat.
Step 9: PLACEMENT OF THE FOURTH CLIP
The bottom right clip is next. Pull the hair out of the way and place this clip by stretching the piece down to the bottom edge of the nape and slipping the clip into your hair, making sure the clip securely catches the hair at the end of the nape. The vertical stretch lace allows the piece to be pulled taut so that no gaps occur between the top and bottom of the piece.
Step 10: PLACEMENT OF THE FIFTH CLIP
The bottom left clip is next. As in the previous step, attach the left bottom clip making sure the clip securely catches the hair at the end of the nape.
Step 11: PLACEMENT OF THE SIXTH CLIP
The right side clip is next. As in the previous step, attach the right side clip into the hair behind your ears making sure the clip securely catches your hair.
Step 12: PLACEMENT OF THE SEVENTH CLIP
The left side clip is next. As in the previous step, attach the left side clip into the hair behind your ears making sure the clip securely catches your hair.
Step 13: FINISHING THE LOOK
Release all the hair that was clipped out of the way in Step Three and blend in with YVONNELEE LONDON ™ “Hair P” Clip-in Hair Extension.

CLEANING AND CONDITIONING THE EXTENSIONS:
1.Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles or teasing with your fingers or a pick comb. Do not brush.
2.Add one teaspoonful of any mild shampoo to two quarts of cold, never hot, water.
3.Immerse the clip-in extensions by holding the piece at the top, then gently dipping it up and down into the water. Do not rub.
4.Soak the extensions for five minutes.
5.In a long stroking action, remove the excess water from the piece.
6.Rinse thoroughly twice in cold water until the water runs clear.
7.Dab gently with a towel to remove excess water. Do not wring or twist.
8.DO NOT COMB THE EXTENSIONS WHILE WET.
9.While still wet, spray with a leave-in conditioner that is specially formulated for synthetic hair goods.
10.Hang to dry at room temperature. (A skirt hanger works well)
11.You may use water soluble styling aids to define curl or add shine.
12.Style with fingers or pick comb.
13.DO NOT USE HAIR DRYER, BLOW DRYER OR CURLING IRON. AVOID EXCESS HEAT.
BETWEEN WEARINGS
1.Spray with a light mist of leave-in conditioner that is specially formulated for synthetic fiber to keep your extensions looking fresh and healthy.
2.Gently remove any tangles using your fingers or pick comb.
3.A water soluble hairspray may be used for a light hold.
STYLING THE HAIR
1.Because the curl pattern (or lack of a curl pattern) is baked into the fiber, it is not necessary to set your extensions after washing. However, if you wish, wet setting is the safest way to curl your extensions.
2.Blow dryers, curling irons and other thermal tools should not be used on synthetic fiber, as the heat can melt the fiber.
STORING THE HAIR
1.The best and most convenient way is to store the extensions in the provided pack.
2.To keep the desired curl pattern, you may want to set the hair on rollers that conform to the curl size you wish to maintain before storing.
3.Do not sleep or swim while wearing the clip-in extensions.

The top two middle clips should be attached first by placing them at the middle of the back of the head just below the part so that the top of the weft is even with the part when attached. Pull across in a straight line and snap the two remaining clips on either side of your head.
Step 4: CHECK FOR GAPS
Run your fingers along the weft to make sure it lies flat against your head along the entire width. If there are any gaps, correct this by snapping the clip open, lifting it off your hair and repositioning it so that the weft lies flat.
Step 5: FINISH THE LOOK.
Release all the hair that was clipped out of the way in Step 1 and blend in with YVONNELEE LONDON ™ “S Volume” Clip-in Hair Extension.
Step 6: REMOVING THE WEFT
To remove the piece, snap open all the clips and gently lift up and away from your hair. Never try to remove a weft without first opening all the clips. Pulling or tugging to remove a weft can result in damage to your own hair.
S Volume - How to Care | to the top
CLEANING AND CONDITIONING THE EXTENSIONS:
1.Extensions should be washed after 3 – 4 wearings. Before shampooing, gently remove all tangles. If hair is excessively tangled, a spray-on conditioner should be used.
2.Prepare a basin of COLD to WARM water with a small amount of shampoo. Always use a mild shampoo or one specifically formulated for chemically treated hair.
3.Immerse the clip-in extensions by holding the piece at the top, then gently dipping it up and down into the water several times, stroking downwards from the weft base to the ends. DO NOT TWIST, SWISH, RUB OR SCRUB THE PIECE.
4.In a long stroking action, remove the excess water from the piece.
5.Rinse thoroughly twice in cold to warm water until the water runs clear. Be sure that all shampoo is removed as improper rinsing could result in damage.
6.Apply a professional conditioner into the extensions in long, gentle strokes…do not rub.
7.Let conditioner set on piece for five minutes and rinse under cold running water.
8.Apply a leave-in conditioner.
9.Use styling aids as you would on your own hair. AVOID VOLUMIZING PRODUCTS as they tend to swell the hair resulting to difficulty to manage extensions. Smoothing products are highly suggested.
10.You can comb with a wide tooth comb and let the piece air dry for best results.
11.You can then use a curling iron, hot rollers, or flat iron after the hair is dry for your desired style.
STYLING THE HAIR
1.Steam rollers and/or wet setting are the safest way to curl your extensions.
2.Blow dryers, curling irons and other thermal tools may be used on low settings. Remember, the hair may scorch if the setting is too high.
3.If you choose to use electric rollers, always make sure that the ends are wrapped into the rollers to avoid “fishhooks”.
